LanePilot sells two kinds of seat. They are different products and are not interchangeable.

Coordinator seat

Command includes 2 Coordinator seats. You may buy a maximum of 2 additional seats, so a Command organization tops out at 4 people.

Dock User seat

A check-in-only login for your dock crew. None are included in Essentials or Warehouse. The Owner can receive freight without a Dock User seat. A seat count cannot drop below the number of Dock Users already on your crew.

Common questions

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from Settings at any time, with no early termination fee. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then. After that, your account moves to the free plan and your organization keeps its data.

What counts as a quote credit?

Each rate quote uses 1 quote credit. On Shipper and Professional, each invoice audit also draws 1 quote credit from the same pool. On Professional+ and Command, invoice audits are unlimited and draw nothing. On Free, quotes and audits run on two separate meters. Booking, tracking, and viewing existing results, shipments or KPIs never use a credit.

Is there a free plan?

Yes, and it needs no credit card. Every month you get 5 quote credits and 7 invoice audits on separate meters, plus 2 dispute letters. New accounts also get 15 bonus credits at sign-up and 10 more for finishing the Flight Path. Bonus credits never expire and are spent only once your monthly allowance runs out.

Do unused credits roll over?

No. Quote credits, invoice audits and dispute letters reset at the start of each period and do not carry forward. The one-time bonus credits on the free plan are the only exception: those never expire.

How do dispute letters work?

Every plan includes a monthly dispute letter allowance, starting at 2 a month on Free and unlimited on Professional+ and above. LanePilot generates the letter and you review it, confirm the figures and file it with the carrier yourself. LanePilot is a software tool, not a freight broker, and never contacts, negotiates with, or files against a carrier on your behalf.

What happens if I go over my quote allowance?

On Shipper, Professional and Professional+, additional quotes are $1.50 each and appear as a line item on your next invoice. There is no separate payment and no new checkout. On Free, quotes past the allowance are declined rather than billed. Command is a soft cap: quotes past 500 are neither blocked nor billed.

Do I need a paid freight plan to use LanePilot Warehouse?

No. LanePilot Warehouse is a standalone product. It can be bought on its own and held on any freight plan, including Free (it cannot be held on the Pause tier). Essentials runs the warehouse: receiving, purchase orders, bin locations, inventory, cycle counts, stock moves and CSV import, everything a real warehouse needs day to day. LanePilot Warehouse, at $119/mo, does everything Essentials does plus the tools that tell you something you did not already know or act for you: the visual 3D warehouse map, reorder automation, vendor scorecards, ledger reconciliation and the rest. Both are available during the 37-day free trial.

Can I change plans?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from Settings > Billing. A downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep your current plan features until then. LanePilot does not refund completed billing cycles.
